The LSG Group and Barilla extended their collaboration at the World Travel Catering Expo (WTCE) 2019 

The annual tradeshow is always a fun time for the LSG Group; meeting with customers and showcasing our products and offerings never disappoints, but this year, we had some extra news to look forward to. The LSG Group defined upcoming food trends to look out for in 2019 and 2020

With the industry becoming more dynamic and ever-changing, the need to stay on top of trends has become, now more so than ever, essential. That’s why Head of Product and Service Innovation and Research Martin Buchholtz looked into the food trends worth focusing on in the upcoming year. We presented on sustainable meat alternatives (including an Insect Burger) at the WTCE 2019

Sustainability was the main focus for the LSG Group at this year’s WTCE, and that was why at a blind-tasting session organized by the company, selected visitors had the opportunity to try sustainable meat alternatives. The options included a veggie burger and an ento burger, the patty of which was made from insects. The visitors were then asked to guess which of the four was the classic beef, premium beef, vegetable or insect burger. The LSG Group showcased its #perspectives for 2019

Last but not least, the year is not complete without #perspectives, the LSG Group Calendar 2019. Complete with one motif for each month, our chefs have prepared an exciting, international array of dishes that represent something unique.
