LSG Sky Chefs Lounges: Some like it icy
With this hot, sticky summer, there have been times when I wished I could move my office to an airport lounge and not just because of the air-conditioning – there are other temptations, too, in the oasis …
With temperatures in most of Germany well over 35°C at the beginning of July and a new record of 40.3°C in Kitzingen, everyone was looking desperately for a way to cool down but my colleagues kept a cool head!
They work for LSG Sky Chefs Lounge GmbH’s product placement department, liaising between suppliers and airlines. Inspired by the record-breaking heat, they came to the rescue with Mövenpick.
Miraculously, extra freezers ‘suddenly’ appeared in our lounges in Germany packed with Mövenpick Mini Macaos and frozen yoghurts!
So if you’re like me and feel the heat, believe me, they’re a great and tasty way to cool down.
And of course, there’s a whole lot more to tempt you in LSG Sky Chefs lounges – from a fresh baked croissant in the morning, over a seasonal salad for lunch, to a hot Leberkäs in the evening!
