September #perspectives: Monochromatic, but full of flavor
To close off the third quarter of 2019, Manager Corporate Culinary Excellence Mathieu Castex has created a single-hued dessert that pays homage to one of our corporate colors.
Shades of purple is a dessert that, as the name suggests, is entirely purple. Don’t let the monochromatic look fool you, however, because the treat packs a flavorful punch.
The confection is topped with the French violet flower, which pairs perfectly with the blackcurrant flavors of the mousse. Finishing the dessert is the ruby chocolate, the newest addition to the chocolate family.
If you’re unfamiliar with the ruby chocolate, that might be because it’s still relatively new to the market. The chocolate type was unveiled in September 2017 in Shanghai, so it only made sense that the September motif celebrated the chocolate’s second birthday.
Shades of Purple was also served to guests at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo 2019.
