How LSG Sky Chefs takes part in the Olympic Games

The Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia just started. Major sports events like these are a highlight for everyone involved – our company included.

Since the end of January, the number of daily flights to Sochi – taking athletes, trainers and other supporters to the venues – has increased steadily. And this will continue during the Olympic Games and the Paralympics, complemented by governmental and other VIP flights.

LSG Sky Chefs is excited to play its part in best supporting the athletes and their fans coming in by plane. During the Olympic week alone we expect to cater some 150 additional weekly flights of Russian carriers alone – and are prepared to produce more than 100,000 additional meals.
