QSAI Awards: Major Recognition for Three LSG Sky Chefs Catering Facilities
Neu-Isenburg, Germany – LSG Sky Chefs is excited to announce that – once again – three of its catering facilities have been awarded with prestigious QSAI (Quality and Safety Alliance In-flight Catering Program) awards. This year LSG Sky Chefs could win a whole set of medals:
Brussels (BRU), Belgium: Gold Medal for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Santiago (SCL), Chile: Silver Medal for the Americas
Buenos Aires (EZE), Argentina: Bronze Medal for the Americas
For EZE it is the fourth award in the past five years. Also SCL has been amongst the winners in the past. “It is my greatest pleasure to congratulate our teams for this outstanding achievement,” said Jochen Müller, COO LSG Group. “To be selected from more than 250 caterers worldwide is a fantastic recognition of the great work our colleagues in Brussels, Buenos Aires and Santiago are doing each and every day. It makes me very proud to again have three LSG Sky Chefs facilities in this honorable list.”
QSAI stands for the Quality and Safety Alliance In-flight Catering Program, which is the first audit program that allows the participating airlines monitor and improve in-flight food supplier compliance with internationally recognized standards. The program was developed and is managed by auditing company Medina, which presents a total of 10 awards every year. All winners are leaders in delivering safe, quality in-flight food to passengers and crews alike.
