LSG Sky Chefs Lounge GmbH Extends Partnership with SWISS
Neu-Isenburg, Germany – LSG Sky Chefs Lounge GmbH (LLG) has signed a new contract with SWISS to begin on January 1, 2016. The agreement includes the management of six existing SWISS lounges at Zurich airport, plus three new SWISS lounges in Dock E and the airport’s new First Class Terminal. This contract represents a mutual new beginning for both contracting parties and is simultaneously a confirmation of the existing partnership.
“Since 2007 we have had the privilege of looking after the SWISS lounges in Zurich as a competent and innovative service partner. During our successful partnership, we have been able to acquire profound know-how regarding Swiss culture and have collected a wealth of experiences so that today we know better than ever what it takes to please demanding guests, as well as our clients. We can therefore claim that SWISSness, meaning the Swiss culture and way of life, has become a part of our own identity,” explains Jens H. Kreutzer, Managing Director of LSG Sky Chefs Lounge GmbH.
The LLG team contributed numerous new ideas and concepts to the SWISS lounge tender. The foundation of the new gastronomic concept is high-quality regional produce, which for the most part is freshly prepared in the lounges. In addition to front cooking stations, there is a five star à-la-carte table service available in the First Class area. In the winter months, the outside terrace of the lounge in Dock E offers guests an authentic chalet feeling with cheese fondue, raclette, wool blankets and binoculars.
During the development and future implementation of the various concept components, LLG cooperated with renowned Swiss partners, such as Riegger wine merchants (wine selection), the vegetarian restaurant Hiltl (vegan and vegetarian products), as well as ‘Switzerland’s Best Whiskey Bar 2015’, Old Crow, in Zurich (bar concept).
The hand-picked and trained personnel of LLG provide true Swiss hospitality by looking after over one million SWISS lounge guests per year between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. every day.
