LSG Sky Chefs extends Business with JetBlue

Neu-Isenburg, Germany/ Irving, Texas, U.S. – LSG Sky Chefs has extended its contract with JetBlue Airways Corp. for 16 airports throughout the U.S. LSG Sky Chefs has provided commissary provisioning services to JetBlue for more than nine years. Currently, all JetBlue flights are provisioned with shelf-stable products and beverages. The company will also provide catering for JetBlue’s new premium service (“Mint Experience”) between San Francisco (SFO) and JFK, which will feature a new take on in-flight dining, tapas-style and will launch on October 26, 2014. LSG Sky Chefs also provides retail products for economy class (“Core”) customers out of all the 16 airports, which includes improved and extended Buy-on-Board offerings between San Francisco and JFK.

The 16 airports include Burbank (BUR), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), LaGuardia (LGA), Las Vegas (LAS), Oakland (OAK), Portland (PDX), Sacramento (SMF), San Diego (SAN), San Francisco (SFO) San Jose (SJC), Seattle, (SEA), Tampa (TPA), Washington DC/Dulles International Airport (IAD), Washington DC/Reagan International Airport (DCA) and West Palm Beach (PBI). As part of this deal, LSG Sky Chefs secured business in nine new locations, but will no longer provide provisioning services for Jet-Blue in Los Angeles (LAX). Boston (BOS) is kept under a separate contract.
