Cathay Dragon Contract Extension at Hong Kong Hub
Hong Kong, China/Neu-Isenburg, Germany, June 5, 2018 – LSG Sky Chefs, the catering and hospitality expert of the LSG Group, is happy to announce that it has extended its catering agreement with Cathay Dragon at their Hong Kong hub for seven years, through 2025.
LSG Sky Chefs has been catering Cathay Dragon in Hong Kong since July 1985, when the airline’s first B737-200A took off from there. Cathay Dragon is the company’s largest custom-er in Hong Kong with over 80 flights per day. It also serves the carrier at eight other locations in the Asia-Pacific region.
The airline is wholly owned by Cathay Pacific Airways. It has a fleet of 24 A330-300s, 8 A321s and 15 A320s covering 53 destinations across Asia-Pacific, including 23 in Mainland China, where it operates about 400 flights a week.
Cathay Dragon offers complementary services onboard, including a wide range of Asian and Western menus, highly focusing on the passenger’s inflight experience. The airline has been recognized as the “Best Airline” – China category for six consecutive years by Skytrax and “Best Regional Airline Asia” in 2011, 2013 and 2015, as well as “World’s Best Regional Air-line” in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015.
