The people at the helm of LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG, the holding company for LSG Sky Chefs and Retail inMotion, provide the LSG Group with a strong mix of leadership skills and experience.

The LSG Group is managed by a two-member Executive Board: Chief Executive Officer Erdmann Rauer (CEO since 2014 after joining the company in 2006) and Chief Financial Officer Holger Fleige (CFO since joining the company in 2023), plus a Group Development Committee consisting of the Executive Board and the Heads of the Regions, Divisions and Value-Chain functions. These bodies possess a strong mix of corporate insight, experience from other industries, and diverse personal backgrounds and skills.

Erdmann Rauer – Chief Executive Officer

Erdmann Rauer has been Chief Executive Officer of LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG (LSG Holding) and Chairman of the Executive Board since October 1, 2014. At the LSG Group, he is responsible for Business Development; Marketing and Sales; Communications; Legal, Corporate Affairs & Compliance; Internal Audit and Information Management. The LSG Group’s expert brand Retail inMotion (onboard retail) also reports directly to him. He is also responsible for the North American, Latin American and Asia-Pacific region.

Upon his appointment as CSO of LSG Holding in January 2011, he assumed responsibility for LSG Sky Chefs’ worldwide Sales and Marketing, as well as the company’s Buy-on-Board and Inflight Retail activities.

In his previous role as Corporate Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, he focused on formulating company-wide and customer-specific sales and marketing strategies. He also established a new market and consumer research and innovation team. He joined LSG Sky Chefs in 2006 as Managing Director of SPIRIANT (the LSG Group’s expert brand for equipment and logistics, formerly LSG Sky Chefs Catering Logistics), where he spearheaded the business’s globalization efforts by acquiring new international customers and expanding into Asia. He was also the key driver behind the formation of SkylogistiX, a joint venture with Kuehne + Nagel.

Before joining LSG Sky Chefs, Erdmann Rauer gained extensive experience at GKN Walterscheid, the world’s technological leader in driveline systems, where he held several senior management positions. His last role at GKN was Managing Director of the Service and Distribution Division, which is responsible for worldwide small OEM and aftermarket sales and distribution. Prior to embarking on his career, Erdmann Rauer studied Business Administration in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Holger Fleige – Chief Financial Officer

Holger Fleige has been Chief Financial Officer of LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG (LSG Holding) since April 1, 2023. He has also taken up the additional role of Labor Director for LSG Holding. He is in charge of Human Resources and Business Capabilities; Finance & Controlling; Quality & Process Management; Operations Value Chain, Infrastructure, Safety and Product and Services Development. The LSG Group’s activities fall within his area of responsibility. He is also responsible for the Emerging Markets region.
