Our Culinary Ambassador Thomas Bühner from Osnabrück, Germany, and our partner chefs Fatmata Binta and Accra, Ghana, and Moncia Pope from Houston, Texas, USA, will be at hand to cook and discuss the latest trends shaping the culinary world of tomorrow. The event will be live-streamed on our Instagram channel.

How do we imbue delight into the journey and create onboard services that passengers will truly value because they are aligned their needs and respond to their values? Robin Sippel will answer this and more questions on the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC).
This session will examine the opportunities to create meaningful engagement with passengers and the strategies that also open up revenue opportunities for airlines and their partners.
- Tuesday, June 14, 12am CEST: Panel discussion “Moving from Push to Pull”
This session will discuss ways in which airlines can improve the customer experience whilst increasing their ancillary revenue and cutting waste. Simon Herkenhoener will be part of it.
- Wednesday June 15, 11am CEST: Panel discussion: “The Urgent Need for Global Collaboration”
Why global collaboration and standardisation are essential to achieve a more sustainable inflight service. A conversation around the need to work together to solve the sustainability puzzle will include Simon Frischemeier.
- Wednesday June 15, 2pm CEST: Panel discussion “Redifining Onboard Catering”
The world of onboard catering and services has changed forever and airlines have been quick to adapt. Sebastian Schäfer will discuss culinary trends in the onboard retail business.
- Wednesday, June 15, 3pm CEST: Live cooking “Zero Food Waste Chef Session”
Björn Orth and Sunbul Dubuni will talk about the rise of shelf-stable foods in airline catering and delight the audience with tasty samples.
